We are not a law firm, and we do not give legal advice. No one on our team is your lawyer. We don’t assess your claim or estimate what it’s worth, and we don’t speak to insurers for you. Our job is to help you reach a lawyer who can.
Why this service exists
After a crash, most people are dealing with injuries, a damaged car and calls from an insurance adjuster, all at once. They also have to figure out which lawyer to call. Many people don’t know where to start, or they wait too long, and some accident claims have strict deadlines.
We built this site to make that first step simpler. You fill out one short form and an Alberta lawyer reviews your situation. You don’t have to call firm after firm or explain your accident five times.
How it works
- Tell us what happened. Use the form to share the basics: when and where the accident happened, how you were involved, and how you were hurt.
- We send your request to one or more lawyers in our network. We only share your information once you tick the consent box on the form.
- A lawyer contacts you directly. You talk about your case, ask about fees, and decide whether to hire them. You are under no obligation to do so. If more than one lawyer contacts you, you can speak to each of them and choose who, if anyone, to hire.
Who we help
People across Alberta use our service after:
- collisions where another driver was at fault, or where fault is unclear;
- accidents where the insurer denied or cut off accident benefits;
- crashes involving pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, transport trucks or commercial vehicles;
- hit-and-run accidents and collisions with uninsured drivers;
- accidents involving passengers, including children (a parent or guardian can contact us on their behalf).
What you should know
- The lawyers are independent. Every lawyer in our network is licensed by the Law Society of Alberta and runs their own practice. They make their own decisions about whether to take a case. You can check any lawyer’s licence in the Law Society of Alberta’s public Lawyer Directory.
- No result is guaranteed. We can’t promise that a lawyer will take your case or predict how your claim will turn out.
- Fees are between you and your lawyer. Many accident lawyers work on a contingency basis, meaning they are paid from the settlement. The terms must be set out in a written agreement, so read it before you sign.
- Our service is free for you. You never pay us anything to submit a request. Lawyers in our network pay us a fee for each request we send them. The lawyer pays that fee, not you, and it is paid whether or not you decide to hire the lawyer.
Our commitments
- We describe our service honestly and never pose as a law firm.
- We share your information only with your consent and only for the reason you gave it. See our Privacy Policy.
- We don’t use your accident or injury details for marketing.
- We don’t pressure anyone to hire a lawyer.
